Description:
The Wolfram Science Winter School offers students and researchers alike a unique opportunity to contribute to a number of active foundational research projects in which Stephen Wolfram and the team of research fellows at the Wolfram Institute for Computational Foundations of Science are involved. These projects mainly include the Wolfram Physics Project, foundations of mathematics and the multicomputational paradigm to study natural and computational systems.
Each participant will have the option of completing an original research project under a team of Wolfram mentors. Individuals with experience in computational research involving theoretical physics, mathematics and computer science—and particularly those with an interest in real-time training in doing fast-paced, original research—are encouraged to apply.
(Please note lectures and presentations will be held in US Eastern time.)
