Thomas Adler

Thomas is a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science, under the supervision of Prof. Cannistraci, at THBI's Center for Complex Network Intelligence (CCNI). He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from University College London (UCL), and has conducted research at the World Bank. Prior to his PhD, he worked as an economist for the UK government and as a data scientist at a Berlin-based NLP startup. He attended the 2024 Wolfram Summer School, working on nestedly recursive functions. Network science and Complex systems has been the core theme throughout his career. Currently, his research focuses on network science for AI, reservoir computing, and network dismantling.
